Gharpi village is located at 1580 feet from the sea level. It inherits a rich fertile soil on the account of being a part of the Western Ghats. This is a pure agro-tourism centre that offers a multilayered joy to
the visitors. The place receives an average annual rainfall of 6000 millimetres. The temperature drops to
20° C during monsoon (June – October). In summer, the days are warm (30° – 35°) but it gets cooler (25° – 30°) at nights. In winter, the temperature is between 20° C and 25° C during the day.
There are some nearby attractions that include the lovely Asaniye waterfalls and the historic Fort Hanumant which is an hour’s trek from the tourism centre.
